Curly Windmill Grass

Enteropogon ramosus

Name-ntyele arne turnpere apele tyape apere uthene ankerre-ntyele uthene tyerrentye akngerre, arne tunpere nhenhe re ulyenke akerte.

The Curly Windmill Grass was used as a hook to extract witchetty grubs out of the trunks of trees. The hook was inserted into the grub's hole in the tree, twisted around and yanked out. These days people prefer to use wire.
